Francis Seatter of Elsness, Sanday, Orkney bought the covers last year and as his silo pit is in a very exposed position he thought that there ‘wasn’t a snowball in hells chance of the covers staying on’ but he admits that he was wrong, the Secure Covers stayed in place all winter. Francis says that ‘there has been a lot of interest in the covers because of the fact they stayed on, they were so easy to put on and clean and also so easy to remove. I would certainly recommend Secure Covers to anyone’. Francis did have one complaint ‘I should have done it years ago’
One of the best known farms in Scotland has turned to using Secure Covers. The Mackies' icecream empire has used them for its silage making operation.
